How/Why I use Proform

Racing UK have used the Proform Professional software since 2012 as our primary source for statistical analysis. It is invaluable, not only for on screen graphics, but also in research for features and filming.

The software is accurate, simple to use and, most importantly, completely reliable.

How/Why I use Proform

I was introduced to Proform by a fellow full-time trader within my trading community in 2008 and I have been hooked ever since.

Successful trading is about finding the edge in the market and using Proform on a daily basis has broaden the number of options I have within the markets.

If you want software that will give you the advantage from a punting prospectus, this tool will delivery in spades!

But for me; it’s what you get for the next generation approach to making money from horse racing, days are gone where your only option is to try and find the winner. That is such an old fashioned way; it’s about finding the right angle for a race and in the quickest time possible!

I can have the next day’s racing mapped out in less than 30 minutes using Proform the night before, I now have insight on racing I never dreamed of having before using the software.

The bottom line is this: to make money you need the right tools for the job, to make money from horse racing you need Proform!

How/Why I use Proform

As someone who spends the majority of their time either watching, analysing, writing about or most importantly investing on horse racing I’m always looking for ways that will cut down on the time it takes me to wade through the cornucopia of races that the British racing calendar throws at us.

To that end I’ve tried and used most of the horse racing analysis and form databases in the market but for the last three years I’ve been exclusively using Proform and can’t see that changing in the future.

There are a myriad of ways to examine, analyse and interrogate the data via the Proform database and even after three years use I don’t think I’ve even scratched the surface of the vast database which now goes back some 15 years. Whether it be in finding betting angles or just looking at how trainers operate Proform will provide the answer and much more. Recent developments have been even more useful to me such as the in-running database which I use extensively for pace-mapping and drawing a mental picture of how a race could be run and how that will suit the protagonists within that race. The extent of the information about horses in-running traits will prove invaluable for anyone who is interested in that area of betting.

I’m also a big fan of the new race guides which provide a good snap shot of individual races plus the daily statistics which provide a start point for much of my daily analysis.

I’ve used Proform day-in day-out for the past three years I would have no hesitation in recommending it as a tool for racing analysis and finding betting angles. Because it is so vast it can look a daunting tool to use at first but with a little time, practice and use of the excellent help functions and videos you’ll soon be finding pieces of information and data that you never knew existed and finding out plenty of profitable angles of your own.

Proform have the strapline “The Professionals Formbook” and I can think of no better way to sum up the database and system as a whole.
